Robert H. Moulton, Class of 1940 and one of the early advocates of SLAC, discusses how he came to Stanford to survey Stanford’s financial needs as a prelude to a big fund drive, the first in Stanford’s history. He describes his working relationship with then-president Wally Sterling and then-provost Frederick Terman, as well as the Board of Trustees. He also speaks about his work with Project M, which later became SLAC.
