50 Stanford Stories for 50 Years

Main content start

In celebration of fifty years of documenting, preserving, and spreading the news about Stanford's history, we've curated the Society's extensive collections of oral histories and program recordings along with the photos, publications, and memorabilia in the Stanford University Archives. The result? 50 compelling stories narrated by the faculty, staff, and alumni who made and lived these moments in Stanford history.

We'll be releasing stories throughout the anniversary year, curated around themes such as research discoveries, student traditions, famous visitors to Stanford, and earth-shattering moments. View our featured story or the entire collection of 50 Stanford Stories for 50 Years below.
