Interviews about the

Arts at Stanford

The SHS Collections include interviews with visual artists who have taught at Stanford.

The Oral History Project has conducted a number of interviews with Stanford faculty, staff, donors, and others to illuminate the history and evolution of the arts at Stanford. One phase of the project focused on the visual arts at Stanford, especially the collections and exhibits at the Stanford University Museum of Art (later renamed the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Center for the Visual Arts). Another project explored the experience of dance at Stanford.
